The New Colleague

Hehehe. I’m sure you know what that means. Yes ladies and gentlemen, my new colleague is officially cute and young. 21 years old. Let us just call him ‘Jay’. After a small interrogation, I found out that he’s on school break, waiting for his A-Level result, reading law at a private college here in PJ. He was recommended by my Manager’s manager friend(of other department) who knows Jay’s dad. If you got what I mean. But fuck it, it’s not important. And he’s straight. talk to me about chicks(that’s what he calls girls) working girls and all that. Turned me off. But fuck it, I got a new friend so deal with it!

They started the Oracle training today. I am now responsible to handle the AP(Account Payables) of one of their company. Still don’t get what they meant. Looking forward to use the new system soon.

The Talks

My sombre mood turned luscious when there’re talks that a new guy is coming in. He better be cute and around my age or I’ll suffer horrifically for the next 3 months(did I mention that I was hired for only 3 months, yes, it’s contractual) due to the discouraging surrounding. Hehehe. I begin to sound theatrical here. but we’ll just see…and fingers cross of course.

The First Job

Starts my new job today. Lots of clerical job, photocopying, scanning, cheque-issuing and all that. Totally out of my league. I’m not complaining, instead, enjoying it so far. Everything seems to run smoothly today. Oh, let me tell you a bit about this company I’m working right now. It’s basically an IT company doing this outsourcing, servicing and all these IT things you have in mind. I was assigned to the Finance & Accounts Department where the temperature here makes eskimos cry! It’s damn freezing! Serious! It turned my fingers blue!. I know I should have brought my jacket. Tomorrow perhaps. The environment is comfy, I mean, in terms of space. It’s huge and it’s centipede arrangement makes me wonder the Feng Shui of this important department. I’m thinking of bringing my cock and compass tomorrow. The pantry is almost as big as the house I’m living now. It was designed bar-style with tables almost at every corner. Fucking comfortable. I may sound like I’m from Timbuktu or somewhere but I just want to share what I feel about my new workplace. The only drawback here is, I have no friends, peer friends. No one to talk to. It’s not like the colleagues are cocky or what but it just that they are not my age. If you know what I mean. I went to have my lunch alone today. Oh, I forgot to mention we have no food court here in this building so I have to go to the opposite building to get my meal. They have this restaurant and bar downstairs but my supervisor told me that it’s pricey.

And one more thing here is…no cute boys here. They’re only 3 guys in my department(including me) and few others in other department. There goes my dream of seeking ‘The One’. But this damn Nef is always in my mind. Wonder what’s Nef doing now. Fuck. I can’t forget him.

The Offer

My pathetic life finally ended. Got a phone call from this company nearby offering me a job as an Account Clerk. I took it without giving a second thought. Better this than nothing at all right? Thinking about it again, from IT background to accounts…damn it, I’m leading an ambiguous, atrocious life. Well, we’ll see what happens next.
