The Error

I was with a friend at this hypermarket in our neighbourhood to duplicate a key. We were greeted with a sign that says the locksmith will be back in 15 minutes. So we decided to loiter around while waiting for him to return. We came back but the locksmith was still not there. After about a few seconds, a man hurriedly walked towards me and asked:

Man: Mr Wong?

Mate: *Nodding*(Thinking that he's asking me whether I'm looking for Mr. Wong, the locksmith.)

Man: *In a loud voice* I came all the way from Shah Alam because all these keys are not working!

Mate: Errr... I'm not Mr. Wong. I'm waiting for Mr. Wong. He'll be here in 15 minutes.*Pointing to the sign left on the counter*

Man: Ooo...you're not Mr. Wong. I thought you're Mr. Wong because you looked like him from the description given by my friend.

Mate:*Grinning*

Man: I'm so sorry, so sorry!

Mate: No, it's OK. No worries.

And Mr. Wong came into the scene at this moment.

Man: Ooo..that's Mr. Wong*Whispering* Eh, I tell you ah, you're much more handsome than him!

Mate: *Smiling with sparkles in my eyes*(Wakaka! Come on, I know you are ashamed of yourself because you've mistaken me for the locksmith but you don't have to go to that extend. Come ooooooon.)

While waiting for his keys to be fixed.

Man: You see this Mr. Wong ah, he's not really good at this. I have to give these keys to my children. One for my daughter and one for my son. I came all the way from Shah Alam to see him.

Mate: Yeah, he's fixing them now. You just forgive and forget.

Man: Wow, you really have a good heart. No wonder you didn't mad at me when I mistaken you for Mr. Wong. Other people sure have wallop me here!

Mate:*Grinning*(Wakaka! Do I look like a gangster? It's just a small mistake. Why would I want to wallop people? Wakaka! He's watching too much tv I guess.)

I wont go into details of our friendly and accidental conversation. Suffice it to say, that he asked for my background, work, nothing to brag really, but he even asked for the secret of my 'success' to share with her college daughter! Wakaka. Never thought that I'd really give an impression to a stranger!
